libossp-sa12 software package provides Abstraction library for the Unix socket API, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libossp-sa12
libossp-sa12 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libossp-sa12 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libossp-sa12 *
You will get with libossp-sa12 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
